WHO ARE WE?

OUR PASSION FOR PLANTS

We are Erin and Ruben, the proud founders of Blad en Beton. Our plant journey started in 2022 as a hobby with some pancake plants and banana plants, but it soon blossomed into a true passion. When all our little plants started growing and producing cute babies, we became intrigued by the fascinating process of cuttings and repotting and created an immense collection of houseplants. From this passion for plants came Blad en Beton, our little shop that officially saw the light on 17 February 2024, located at the Watermolenplein in Overijse (Belgium).

OUR MISSION AND VISION

We want to contribute to a more sustainable world by inspiring and supporting plant lovers. We want to create a community where knowledge about plant care is shared and where sustainability has a central spot. We do this in the following ways:​

• Personal advice: whether you are a seasoned plant lover or just starting out, we offer tailored advice so that your plants can live a long life. Be sure to check out our Green Guide for tips & tricks.
• Styling: we visit both individuals and companies to help with plant styling.
• Second life: plants in need of extra care can always be brought into our shop for a ‘glow-up’. You can also get started yourself with our Second Life Kit and give plants a second life.
